It is the perfect place for a little stop over. You can ride your bike all the way around the towns walls. We have done this a few times on our trips to Lucca and it is such a great family activity. The drive into Positano was everything and more than you could even imagine. It is magic, huge lemons as big as your head cascade over the walls, colourful homes layer on top of the cliff sides beaming down onto the ocean. Carts selling granita around every corner. I had tears in my eyes thinking - I was surely the luckiest woman in the world to be here with my family at that point.
