How to preserve your photographs

So you’ve finished your photography portrait session with me and you have just received the email with the link to all your precious photographs.

Now what?

How do you ensure these memories are preserved for generations to come?

Here are some of my top ideas as a photographer, that I do myself and you can too, to ensure these memories will continue to be cherished for many more years to come.

  • Prints: Print sounds so obvious, but you would surprised to hear that so many people forget to print their photographs. Did you know we will be the most photographed generation of all time however we will have the least amount of actual printed photos! I have an open plan stair way in our home, with a large wall. Jesse and I have created a photo wall that is filled with our very own memories together. I love the nostalgic emotions that are evoked, this wall of memories brings me daily. I do provide my clients with an option to upgrade their Heirloom Image Collection IV which comes with some print or alternatively can pop a print order through at anytime with you online print shop exclusive to my clients.

  • Albums and Prints: Create physical albums or photo books to display in your home. My girls adore going through their photo books, Albums and photo books make for a beautiful coffee table book decor option or look lovely up in shelves with their luxe labeled spines.

  • Digital Backups: Store digital copies in multiple locations, such as cloud storage or external hard drives.

  • Share with Loved Ones: Share your beautiful photos with friends and family to spread the joy. My Mum and Grandma adore having these memories up on their walls for people to adore when they walk through the home. Photographs make wonderful conversation starters too.
