Brisbane Editorial Engagement Session

Christina & Josh – A City-Luxe Engagement Session at Customs House & St John’s Cathedral
by Wylde Folk Studio – Brisbane Wedding & Engagement Photographer

There’s something so timeless about love set against the backdrop of Brisbane’s most iconic architecture — and Christina & Josh’s engagement session was the perfect blend of elegance, intimacy, and effortless romance.

We started at Customs House, where the classic columns gave us that beautiful mix of grand and romantic. Christina looked absolutely radiant — graceful and glowing.

The way the light danced through the archways and around the stone facade gave us the most dreamy, editorial feel. We leaned into that softness and elegance — letting their story unfold naturally, while making the most of the classic textures and golden hour glow.

From there, we wandered through the city toward St John’s Cathedral. This spot never fails to take my breath away — the towering arches, intricate stonework, and quiet reverence it holds. It’s a place full of presence. Against the backdrop of this grand cathedral, Christina & Josh brought a softness that was completely their own. It felt sacred in its own way.

Their session was filled with meaningful glances, whispered laughter, and moments of stillness that said everything without needing words. As photographers, these are the in-between moments we live for — when couples forget about the camera and just melt into each other.

Christina & Josh, thank you for trusting me with this special chapter. Your love has such a calm and grounding energy, and I feel so lucky to have captured it in these timeless Brisbane locations.

If you’re newly engaged and dreaming of a session that feels personal, elegant, and deeply connected to place — let’s create something beautiful together. Whether it’s urban sophistication like Christina & Josh, or coastal calm, we’ll find the backdrop that speaks to your love.
